Lowenbrau Keller, The Rocks

I heart Lowenbrau with a passion for their atmosphere, the food, the booze and the list goes on. The servings are generous, their pork knuckle and pork crackling is to die for, the atmosphere is very lively and having a live band is always a bonus.

Schlachtplatte for two - Sausages, Chicken Schnitzel, Meat Loaf and Roast Pork Belly, Served with Mashed Potatoes, Sauerkraut, Braised Red Cabbage, Bread Dumpling, Bier Gravy Double the Size and a Roasted Pork Knuckle. $73.00
This platter is meant to serve for two but whenever I go back, it always serves for up to three so I always end up rolling up the door because I am that stuffed. Roasted Pork Knuckle is the highlight of that platter; the pork was juicy and all the flavours were well absorbed into the pork to make a flavoursome roast.

Shandy - Lager with Lemonde ($8.00) and Hafbrau Dunkel - Malty, roasty and caramel ($8.00)
Knuspriger Schweinebauch - Crackling Roast Pork Belly with Löwenbräu Bier Sauce, Sautéed Potatoes
and Slow-Braised Red Cabbage - $31.50
Potato Mash - $7.50
Large Fries - $22.00
The pork crackling was one of my favourites; the pork was tender, the crackling was extra crunchy to bite into to and you could taste the punch of salt on that crackling. It was indeed amazing. Their fries are always a winner, especially with their version of tartare sauce, I recommend to everyone who goes to get it because the experience it is just not the same without their chips.
