Brunching in Melbourne

Melbourne seems to be a city that is full of brunch spots. There are endless amounts of brunch spots along every street that forms Melboure's square city and there are just as many tucked away in the tiny quiet streets. Though the hard question is, which one do you choose?

Baked eggs with chorizo and toast
This was my first time proper time to Melbourne where I was able to explore the city properly so I had to be a 'tourist' and visit Hardware Societe to check out what the deal was all about. What is it about this place that makes it so amazing to attract a lot of tourists from all over the nation to travel to this little cafe?

An upgrade!

Yayyyyyerss!!

Food is our religion finally got a brand spanking new look!

What do you guys think of it?

Thanks again they let me wear this to work for your help and creation!

p.s. apologies for no blogspot tonight, I simply cannot concentrate as Djokovic is almost two sets down in the Australian Open and here I was hoping for an epic final between Djokovic and Federer (still quite possible right?).

Degraves Street, Melbourne

Oh haiz guys! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. It has been a while since I have a weekend all to myself and I am loving it. So a little while back I did a bit of traveling to help cure my cabin fever. Don't get me wrong, I love Sydney but once it starts to hit the 9 to 12 month mark of being in Sydney every.single.day, I start to go a little cray cray. About a month or so ago, I flew down to Melbourne where all I did was ate, drank, shopped, slept, ate, drank, shopped and slept. It was like Hong Kong on repeat all over again.

One stop shop for all your Baguettes, literally!
For all those that know about my OD story in Malaysia and are wondering if I did OD on food or not in Melbourne, the answer is no. At least not to the point where I ended up at a 24 hour emergency clinic and popped 6 large pills a day. Although I did eat so much to the point where I could not even fit in Cumulus Inc on the last day *cries*. I was so full from constantly eating and drinking that it got to the point where I simply could not fit much more in. At least I made the most of my trip right? lol

El Loco - Pop up at the house, Sydney

Happy new year everyone!! I hope all you guys had a splendid NYE and started off the year with an awesome new year's day! To start off the year, the annual Sydney Festival is now on! That also means it is time to say hello to the gigantic yellow rubber duckie floating on Darling Harbour. Also on is the pop up El Loco restaurant at the house from 4 to 28 January 2013 (it is so weird to type out '2-0-1-3'...).

Sitting right next to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House in the middle of summer with mother nature's rays shining down, a cider in one hand and food in another.. ahhhh it was such a blissful moment. This is just another reason why I am so proud to call Sydney my home <3!
